Florida has some of the strictest stair codes in the nation because of all the cotton tops. 7' minimum head clearance and no less than 10'' tread width but has to have a 1'' nosing and no more than 7.5'' risers. The formula is 2 risers and 1 tread have to add up between 24"-25" total so it limits what you can do.

I suspect that EVERY pet owner deals with unexpected interior "accidents". We have had dogs of all ages and the older ones can really frustrate me when they "go" before I can get them outside.

This is why I have hardwood and ceramic tile floors...not carpet.

Not at all. But I'll never be without my dogs. There are certain resolutions I have in life; that is one. Non-negotiable. Simply a statement, that's all
