Are you treating the bare metal after stripping??
There always seem to be some hidden issues that are found when the paint comes off!Being that this is an original paint car, there’s no bondo or multiple paint layers to deal with.

Way to go, Marcus!
Did I read that you're going with a TKO or TKX Tremec 5 speed?
Submit bringing your out meals???
That's getting it done. Years ago when I bought the 70 Challenger R/T off of Jack,it had about nine layers of paint with primer between the coats, metal was good, but the car was about a half inch narrower after all the paint was removed. It took about a week to strip it by hand with a DA sander!
I thought.. Oh never mine, don't want to get your thread toasted! LOLNo, she barely allowed me back in the house after I blew myself off.
TKX 5 speed.
No, she barely allowed me back in the house after I blew myself off.
Is that car getting a Tremec transmission?
Okay, I thought so.
I ask because I'm helping with a Tremec TKX swap into a 69 Coronet and wondered if the shifter hump is much different than my car needed with the TKO. SST claims the TKX fits without much trimming.
If he could do that,no work would be happening to the car!she barely allowed me back in the house after I blew myself off.
Are you related to John Holmes?
