The Roach

If you have a set of holesaws, and already have holes the wrong size, you can always use an 'Oops Arbor' - this allows two holesaws to be used at once - one is the guide for the original hole size, and the larger makes the hole size you need.

I use these a lot for ceiling lights, and some electrical panel work.

There are two different sizes - the larger has a centre hole for a pilot drill when using bigger hole saws.

No real progress in the last month worth talking about. Once the body man to gives me a date, then I’ll start stripping paint. Hoping he can take it by the end of September now.

so nothing going on, till the body guy gets it & is done ?

hope for your sake
he's not like a bunch of body/paint guys I had to deal with over the many years
have to constantly motivate them :BangHead:

Paint Jail, is as bad as Fabricator Jail/Chassis Guys Jail or dreaded Machinist Jail :icon_fU:
I hope you don't deal with that crap...

Progress was moving like crazy
sad to see it stalled

Good luck

Talked with the body man & he’s not telling me that he’ll take it in mid - late October, which probably means sometime in November and he’ll have it all winter. Looks like my wish of getting it back before the snow flies and finishing it up over the winter is not going to happen.

Bummer. Well at least you have loads of time to prep everything else while you wait.

At this point, I can see that he’ll have the car over the winter. Broke open the wiring harnesses and attached the engine harness. Everything plugged right in. Due to the length of the harnesses coming off of the engine, the computer and power module will be mounted on the RH inner fender. I am using the Mopar harness.
