The Roach

These cars without the wheel opening moldings look like a chick with NO eyebrows.

I'm just not seeing it

I love seeing the progress and reassembly process. Looking forward to the struggles of putting mine back together in a year!

Dang RC you're getting at it...

Looking great too

that top looks like, more of an 'off white' like egg-shell color
I didn't realize they were 'off white' that much (like a 'light tan' almost)
maybe lighting or something
is/does the interior seat & door cards, headliner, all match the roof color ?
I assume it/they doe/s, just never knew they weren't more "white"

That's Racist Buckwheat -eating a watermellon & fried chicken-.gif

I chose the 1968 pearl white instead of the 69-70 solid white for the vinyl top. It is still very white. Must be the lighting. The rest of the interior is standard 1970 white, which is a creamy white.

Got the three pedals, hydraulic clutch cylinder and a couple pieces of insulation installed today. Got to work on the gas pedal location still.

She's a "perty girl", that's going to be nice... :drinks:

I sort of thought it must be lighting

That's the first thing I put on my Coronet. I like the top 440 trim and the 500 trim on the wheel openings and bottom. It's officially a 940 now.

Not much done today due to yard work, but I got in some time late in the day to install the headlight adjusters, buckets and LED headlights.

Mark, were did you buy the LEDs?

I got these online ….. 50 bucks each. They come with halogen bulbs installed and the LEDs are in a separate box. The lights are glass, but the face of them doesn’t look like OEMs. With the Charger’s hidden headlights, I didn’t care about that.

Fred being a real GTX, he's supposed to have all the trim, like this one:

I bought him sans any of that. Previous owner included all the original rocker and wheelwell trim
in the deal, which was/is all a trainwreck of course....

At first, I planned on buying new stuff (and a side stripe kit) but to be honest, I've grown to love him
without any of that gingerbread. It would be totally out of character for him.
I kinda dig the "sinister" side of him...

I might change my mind one day - but I doubt it. :)

I got this idea from someone here on the forum who ran the same frame connectors. Weld in a 1/2” piece of steel pipe at the proper angle for the e-brake cable.
