This cant be good.

How could the arm fit in the tight slots or bushing come out with the 1/2" cam bolts squeezing everything together?
Mike
You can see on the arm itself where it's bent inwards at the bushing, so my thinking is when the bushing was pressed in, a press was used, and it wasn't supported correctly and the arm bent. And it was just installed with the bolt squeezing the bushing...

Found this video I made of tie rods from a "kit" vs Moog.. kit ones have 4K miles on them..

Yep, looks like your arm is rotating on the bushing shell vs the rubber twisting back and forth.

and wore a portion of the shell away causing it to cock....guess we'll find out

Remember, you're not buying factory arms unless you get used ones. You're buying "factory style" arms, probably made overseas. I'm a big fan of PST but these arms in my experience aren't the best, for the reasons I pointed out in post #19.

I agree with everyone on the good used one.

Thanks Wayne ,Im at a lost with this stuff.
This statement is stupid:

"Lowered Mopars suffer from lack of suspension adjustability. All available caster is lost in order to get camber back to spec"

Who the heck wants factory alignment specifications with a lowered car??

Yup,
Something is bent or faulty. Could be from previous collision damage. Not much point replacing anything until you determine what is at fault....& fix that first.

And use quality parts like Moog, you'll pay more than a kit, but you'll thank yourself in long run.. Here's Moog part #'s, which are still being made, and can be gotten from most parts places.

Found a video I made of tie rods from a "kit" I purchased with 4K miles on them vs a new Moog.
I just did this exact same thing on my '67 Coronet and also bought a close ratio Pittman Arm. What a difference.

Just me.. I'd be getting another UCA... notice how it's bent on the bushing, more space on bottom than top? That's not normal, something caused/is causing the arm to bend. This how it should look..

Looks like you tire is rubbing the brake line. The line should maybe closer to fitting and have a tighter bend

Thank you sire, good eye... I just checked and it's not rubbing, I can get 2 fingers between it and the line. What you see is actually the blue paint from when I welded in the Z-bar mount and painted it.

(I'm glad it's not rubbing, it's been that way for over 18yrs!)
