Hello from Wisconsin,
I figured I should post a few pics of my new coronet, and tell a little about it, before bombarding you guys with a million questions...
I'm switching over from a-bodies, and joining the dark side
Last summer I bought a '74 Dart, fixed a few things on it, but just sold it to my father in law to buy a '68 Coronet. Nothing fancy, 318/auto on the column, but I sure do love the body style... needs alot of work, but has potential. It came with brand new front bucket seats, and a matching cover for the rear bench. So one of my first questions is will an A-body (non auto) steering column work in a b-body car, because I have access to a column out of a dart that my brother in law is selling. It doesn't seem right having bucket seats, with a column shift auto.
I just got done shoveling the driveway (got to love those long wisconsin winters), so I could pull her out of the garage for a few pics since it was dark out when I brought it home.
Thanks for the great site
Matt
