I’m currently pushing through rebuilding my 440/512 Stroker. I opted to try the Sniper 2 EFI. I’m having trouble finding a suitable throttle bracket with transmission kickdown to work with the stock cables. Curious if anyone had success finding a suitable bracket with factory cable’s that work with a sniper system. This is on a E body by the way.

Will do. Thanks!!
did you happen to figure out anything for this issue? I am in the same dilemma on my B-block stroker build with the sniper system on my C-body with an automatic trans I'm trying to run the factory cable & kickdown setup

I used the Lokar bracket for the Sniper I TBI.....and the Lokar throttle cable with the Lokar transmission kick-down cable.

I recently bought a specific stiffening bracket to support the cable from Lokar to really get a solid hold on the cable ends at the TBI...

Bracket accepts both cables - throttle and kick-down.

Lokar is an easy choice. Seems anytime I change intake/carb the factory throttle cable is too short (or is about the break from age), requiring a new one anyhow.

thx for the suggestion. if not too much of a bother can you snap a pic or two to show what it looks like at the throttle body?

I haven't fitted that fancy new stronger bracket yet - was supposed to be on by now, but work is getting in the way.

A few weeks if you want to hold on....maybe early September.

Hope this helps you out. I have had both sniper 1 and then upgraded to sniper 2. The throttle bracket for the sniper 1 does not work properly on the 2 because the width is narrower and it doesn’t line up well. I used the original Lokar throttle bracket and it works great for both cables. It’s nice to be able to fine tune the kick down cable from the top side at the throttle.

Throttle response is very smooth with the return springs and feels like a regular carb would.
