Throw a prayer our way

Best wishes to you and your wife. You've had a tough row to hoe over the last year.

It’s not knowing what’s going on that messes with your head. Prayers are coming.

1967coronet take your wife to the best teaching hospital you can take her to. Don't waste time at a local hospital! Find a place Like Mayo Clinic! Make sure it's a major teaching Hospital.

If we get bad news after the scope, I’ll seek out the best.

ER doctors are good, but they make mistakes. Get a second opinion on anything they tell you......unless it life/death situation, at that point you are in their hands.

Our primary care is a professor for Loyola medical in Chicago. My aunts are head nurses at rush and north western. If it comes down to it I’ll get her the best available. Wait for tomorrow’s results

The results will gauge the next step.....Collaboration with your trusted primary care physician is key importance....They know you and your wife better than any of us....

Do you know if the results are immediate? If not how long to get them usually?

The biopsy is the key element.....That should be resulted same day or the next....

The waiting sucks but stay optimistic.....WBC count high points to many things infection, inflammation, stress and even allergies...

I bet she is on antibiotics....My hope is it is a bacterial infection from the gut....

Yes they gave her 2 rx’s Yesterday. That’s exactly what Ive been doing just telling them everything is going to be ok. We’ve been on such a string of bad luck over the last year or so we’re due for some good! Hoping it comes tomorrow.

Praying for your wife you and family.... As you know we are dealing with cancer over eight years...What i learned is dont look up symptoms on the internet... until you know exactly what your dealing with... Ask questions and write things down, there is no way you can remember everything, buy a little pocket note book....Dont panic, Your wife and kids need you to be strong...Grown men can cry, i did often when i was alone and put yourself in Gods hands, He will help you and guide you...I was faced with my wife having a incurable terminal illness. I still have her after eight years....PM me if you need my number to talk. I live on the East coast and I'm available almost anytime....

My wife is a Med/Surg RN at a teaching hospital. She was biopsed for cancer last April. The Dr. had the results the next day. I don’t recommend the teaching hospital for treatment unless it’s a big name shop like UCLA or UCSF (My wife works for U of CA Irvine) reason being they have scores of what she calls baby doctors - or residents still learning. If your wife’s issue is serious I would choose the Mayo - doesn’t get any better than that. I’m from the Midwest and if something that serious happens in my family - it’s the Mayo that we’re heading to. I could give you many stories of what the Mayo has done for my family and friends. It’s top drawer. Of course we pray you don’t need to travel for treatment.
