'74 Rallye - number matching motor 360HP/4speed

-- some day to see some fresh paint

2nd '74 Rallye - Originally 360HP/4speed, now holds a 440.

Car is almost 'joe dirt'-like. Picked up a '69 dart that I am currently working on and will probably come back to this car when that one is in condition I like.

Not sure why they painted over the blacked out hood or pulled the stripes on this car.

Is that Skylark a 71 or 72?
I had a 72.
Was a nice 98% rust free car- tan, with dark tan top, 350 2bbl.
...although even with factory sway bars, it didn't even come close to handling as good as my non-swaybar 66 or 67 Coronets that I had just before and just after it.
I always liked those GSX stripe/spoiler combos.

72 gsx clone....

I did this car my way... My first love was a 71 gs 455 and i sold it like an idiot because i was broke and needed money. Swore when i found another i would die with it and 5 years of labor and $30k later.....my baby!

Nice!

Very nice 72 MOPAR you have there, I like the Buick myself.. Had a brown/tan interior 72 (Buick) way back when all the kids were just babys, Really rode like a dream... Went thru two trannys in it though... Back then it seems i had a lot of problems with automatics.

Wait, Spencer wouldn't happen to be Spencer, MA, would it? [I'm thinking it is, based on those MA plates...]
I'm pretty sure I know those cars, and I'm pretty sure I know where those pics were taken.
I'm even pretty sure I know where your dad lives...

(I want to Prouty, Class of 2007, I'm originally from North Brookfield [though I'm in Dedham now], I have a primer black 1974 Dart that you may have seen around the area.)

Lol ya dude, I graduated Prouty 09 haha. Whats your name? I probably know you.

This 71 Charger R/T tribute car was built as a father son project. The father had owned a brand new 71 R/T back in the day and wanted another 71 R/T again. So, not wanting to pay for an R/T, they bought a charger SE out of North Florida, and did a complete frame off restoration. They rebuilt almost everything using new R/T parts. The gill doors where too expensive so they left them off the list of parts (damn it). Just before the car was complete, the Dad unexpectedly died. So I bought the car from the son.

This car is my street bruiser I never had in High School (my mom made me save my money to pay for college and I drove a beater 66 Dodge Polara 4 door instead).

It has a rebuilt 440 with Edelbrock RPM heads, intake, and 850 carb. It breaths thru a set of 1 7/8 inch headers into a 3 inch exhaust and a set of 40 series flowmaster mufflers. It sounds bad, just like a big block should! We estimate it is making around 450 HP. This past winter I replaced the 727 with a TkO 600 manual 5 speed and hydraulic clutch. I finally have the Mopar with a stick shift that have always dreamed about.

It is brutally raw on the street. I just love it. It is a muscle car in every way - sight, sound, smell, and feel.

Hey 71383bee, how are you? Just joined FBBO today and ran across your car. Damn I love your car! It looks awesome in these pictures! Almost as good as when we met in 2010.

Picked up a 67 Cuda drag car in Sept 2011. Raced it at Great Lakes a couple times this year and had a blast.

I have pictures of all Mopars in my gallery in FABO, if you want to see them. Working on getting them set up in FBBO.

Here's is one of the pictures with our cars together

Happy New Year
