Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

Awesome cars guys! Here are a couple shots from this summer - A rebuilt 440, new dash pad, dash insert and chin spoilers start the looong list of stuff done this season.

That is a gorgeous GTX, perfect stance! What rim/tire size combination are you running? I'm assuming those are 17" but I really like the amount of sidewall you have. Looks tough :headbang:

Thanks buddy! I'm super biased, but yeah...I dig the stance/look too. You're right - they're 17x8's. The front tires are 235/55/R17's and the rear are 275/50/R17's. 50 series rubber definitely fills up the wheel wells on these cars when running 17's - it almost makes the wheels seem "smaller" than they are, and gives the car more of an old school look. Thanks again!

i bought aftermarket chin spoilers..but they don't sit flush...did you have to massage them to fit?

Ha yeah, I was less than impressed the first time I mocked them up to the fenders. I found it easiest to get the bottom flush to the front valance, and then get the best possible angle on the fender. It took some time, measuring and a few beers, but my buddy and I were able to get them pretty close to flush - they're not perfect, but damn close.

Perfectly flush or not, I love the way they look. Such a cool design by Ma Mopar :headbang:

For what it's worth, I got mine from Classic Industries, but I'm sure they're probably the same product no matter where the hell you get them from. Good luck dude!

The dash is capped, and the only new instrument is the tach, which replaced a clock. The rest are original and were restored by a guy named John Manush at 2K Inc. in Iowa, who brought the whole cluster back to life (he even polished the odometer numbers and reset them to the mileage on the new motor). The "export tag" is on there for its "Made in U.S.A." feature to remind the rice-burner crowd of what real American steel looks like.

Your car is absolutely beautiful!!! Unique and kick ***! Man that guy did you right on the dash restore.

Next step for me is to fix my instrument bezel. My bezel was cut up for a radio at some point and is cracked in a few places. The gauges and details need to be freshened. I bought another dash bezel that needs to be restored. have to look into 2K.

Thanks
Ma Snart

I really like the look of the BF Goodrich tires and wheel combo you have on the car. What rim width and back spacing as well as tire sizes are you running?

I am going to buy a new set of wheels (most likely a set of SS Cragers for the old school look) and BF Goodrich T/A tires for my Charger. I have been looking at a 15x10 w/ 5 inch back spacing in the rear with a 295/50R/15 tire.

Thanks
Ma Snart
