Not to be rude or anything but no reason for me to turn down my pipes except for the slower competition :p

Last night at the local Lowes.

Did a couple of "upgrades" for driveability, safety and comfort. All "period correct"-
Rallye mirrors, tach, buckets, tuff wheel, and 80's roach clip feathers :) -

Looks good.

YY1, Your car looks sweet with those upgrades! I really like those white bucket seats, i was kind of hoping you would put them in. Are you considering a floor shift and console?

Which tuff wheel did you go with and how eo you like it?

It's a VGC OEM unit I picked up about 6 or 7 years ago, right before the prices went through the roof.

I did buy a DCS (Dale's Cuda Shop) wheel about a year ago.
It's very nice, but the grip is slightly thinner, and much leas "foamy" than OEM, but at least it doesn't have that annoying ridge, like the Grant does.
I got it as a "blem" for $120. I can't find the blem, but I doubt I'd have paid the nearly $200 for a first quality. Simply not in the budget. If I ever sell one of my projects, it might go with it.

Speaking of Tuff Wheels...Did you guys see that A/B body "can" that just sold on ebay for $21???
I fell asleep last night before it was up. The last five I watched went for over $65.
Figures!

I did win another very nice OEM wheel a couple of days ago for $125. Included a really nice horn button.
One small dig on the back side right a 12:00, and NO missing foam at the spokes.
The other ones I have seen in even worse condition have been fetching almost $300. YIKES!

As much as I like a slap stik, I don't dislike a column shift.
I wouldn't mind a white buddy seat/arm rest if one turns up.
...and a matching white back seat.

If my 72 project pans out, I've got a console and slapstick for it.
...or maybe a pistol grip and a Passon five speed...

...uhh, did I fall asleep again?

Im still debating over the pistol grip, I do like them and my "T" shifter knob a little loose any more. Well known for that...

The vinyl top really sets the color off great. X-2 "Sweet"!

I personally like the looks of vinyl tops I wish the previous owner hadn't taken off all the studs that hold the trim on, oh well....
