Tremec TKO 600 hard shifting

I actually liked the ratios in the TKO I had but the delayed shifts are what ended it's place under the car in 15 minutes. The T56s are night and day difference but take some pretty dramatic surgery to install. I can easily and quickly shift at any rpm (I don't push mine past 6,000 rpm) and have had zero issues at all with the performance. Mine was out of a 03 Viper with 17.000 miles on it and only cost me $1,500, the down side is the .5 6th gear ratio. I'm running 4:30s at the moment which is great for cruising making takeoffs effortless and 70 mph cruising coming out to 1,900 rpm on the freeway but I don't like it for hammering on it (can't shift fast enough). I'll be looking into swapping the 5th and 6th gear ratios.

Agreed. 2150 @ 72 mph on the highway w/3:54 Dana gives high teen mpg's and effortless touring. The 2-3 glitch was lied about by Shafi Keisler. Did you see the video of him explaining the clutch failures on the Hemi Charger? Shame on him. Bullshit. They sent me the wrong clutch, said "sorry", we grabbed the wrong one off the shelf. And, the Pilot Bearing was on"back order. Well, fluck me.

Wow.....Keister sent you the wrong clutch too?!?!? I didn't realize it was the wrong one until after the snake went belly up. I never got the driveshaft either. I had to buy a clutch and have Silversport make me a shaft. But they did make me a 3.5" shaft for the price of a 3"

I sent it to Liberty Gears yesterday and see if they can improve it - if not guess I am going to live with it for now.

you're doin the right thing bud..... I plan on doing the liberty gears upgrade as well. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out for you.
