Once again Jim (IQ52) is right, Got my new 240 trickflows and disassemble, measure guide clearance and way too tight .00065 I talked to Eddie at trick flow and he first said they had never heard of a guide clearance problem. I asked him about a fella that had the major problem on this site and he then acknowledged they had a set of heads comming back but the problem was not know yet.

Had 3 sets double checked at mopars engine west (Angie) no issues so far but anything is possible and yet another reason to have folks like her and LaRoy double triple check them

I check them all- no OTB
I od hone the valves for straight and put a nice cross hatch on them- some vendors use valves that would pass for files- every once in awhile I find a bent or hourglass or bowed out in the middle-- all from grinding to coarse and too fast
then I do the guides- usually put a spiral in them almost all the way through then size
the spiral is for oiling now that lead is gone...
Any reason TF did not go to canted valves?
Anyone copying the new Hemi (Porsche) design?
looks like there is still room for improvement in the head department.
