So first and foremost I know that my two pictures are not very good. But I saw this car at work and nobody was home so I didn’t want to do too much digging. I plan to talk to him Monday if I can catch the fella at home. Not that I need another project but if the price is right....... I just don’t know much about these cars. Superbee on the trunk. 383 on the fenders. Where are the places these get rusty? What do I look for. And I know without better pictures and a better description the prices y’all can provide are only ballpark. But I’m curious. I’m sure it’ll be higher than what I paid for my 73 charger. I don’t know if he’s interested in selling but I’m going to give it a shot. Any information y’all can give me will be great. Thanks,
Brandon

The trunk and floor boards are the first to go. If you are in dry climate, the rear window may have rust around it. Without better pictures and some data (tag) on the car it is hard to put a value on it.

I am more concerned that the building it is in could fall on it at any moment. Certainly doesn't look like much in the pictures.

Rear window lower corners rust thru and let water in the trunk and take out the trunk floor. Leaves and crap get in the cowl and rust it from the inside. Check the interior floors too. No front fenders are being repopped now and probably never so they can get spendy. The rest of the metal is available.
VIN should start with WM21 if it is a Superbee. Motor and tranny may or may not have the SO number from the VIN tag stamped at the top behind the intake manifold. The SO number will be stamped on the radiator support and driver side trunkrail under the weatherstrip. Looks like the bulge hood is there. Fender emblems look right and located in the right place. Post coupe was the only roof option (no hardtops in 68) so that checks. Looks like some cancer in the lower quarters but that is expected.
Value varies with conditions and if the drivetrain is present. From the 2 pics it is hard to say. Anywhere from 5k to 10k maybe? More for 4spd and matching #s.

If he sells he won' have anyplace for the post hole digger and oxygen tank.
BCM can throw in a table with the deal lol.

Assuming the usual rust but solid frame rails and cowl, with a motor / trans / complete interior and grill It may be worth $5000 to $7000. But I am going to guess the guy will want $12k for it as it sits.

It did have some rust driver side bottom of rear window. Somebody filled in the radio antenna hole on the fender. And I’m in south Mississippi so it’s always very humid. No telling how long it’s been sitting there. It’s an older logger who has lots of old equipment and stuff all over his property.

Normal. Window corners rot, leak into trunk and rot trunk. Trunk extensions and lower quarters are probably rusty as well.

Definitely a 69, don't run away just yet, 383 emblems look correct, bulge hood looks right, should be a WM21H9xxxxxxx to be a real bee post.
But if that's your Mercedes in the one pic, bring extra $$, or drive something else. Talk first, hear the story, you'll know then if it's for sale or has an emotional pricetag.
Take heed to the others about rust......

Don't run away yet. Approach with caution and don't fall in love with a dream about this car.
Learn all you can from the owner and listen to ALL you hear from this site.
The negatives you hear are meant for your benefit and pondering.
What we have are two pictures. They don't speak much of value for advice.----not enough information.

I know that the two pictures don’t show much if he’s interested in selling I’m certainly going to gather all the information and pictures I can and bring them back here. I lurk a lot more than I post and this site has to have the most informative people on molars out there! As for the Mercedes it was there when I pulled up. I was in my company truck. I work for a tree service and we’re contracted to the local power company. I probably couldn’t afford that Mercedes even if my wife wanted it. Hahahaha. Good thing she loves her jeep unlimited.

Are parts and sheet metal hard to get/ expensive? I’m expecting rust.
Easy to get other than front fenders. There is nothing cheap about this hobby or any other for that matter. Buy it right and you will be ok
