Turn signal indicators on fenders

My '67 Belvedere II has the turn signal indicators on the fenders. One has what appears to be slot in it for a screw driver for removing. The other side does not. I'm assuming that the lens is broken & it doesn't lite anyway. Is the slot for removing the lens to get to the bulb. Are the bulbs & lens available?
Also my radiator doesn't come in contact with the radiator bracket that is bolted to each fender on the very top. Is this normal. The radiator is not from Plymouth. No numbers on the top like on my '67 Barracuda. Thanks. Ray
 
Yes, the slot is so the lens can be removed. However, chances of you being able to do that is pretty slim. Check all the usual sources for new units.

The top tank shouldn't touch the core support, but you should post a pic so we have an idea if what you have is close to what you're supposed to have or not
 
those fender signals are expensive, my lightbulbs are part of the unit, i have the box fender signals, they are $225 for the pair
