The day has arrived . . .
It's almost 4AM . . . as I prepare to make the 2 hour drive from Concord NC to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill . . . plan to be out the door by 4:30, to be at the hospital by 6:30 - the time that my daughter will be arriving to start her check-in and pre-op procedures . . .
Check-in and pre-op 6:30 - 8:30 . . .
Wheeled off to the operating room - 8:30 . . .
Surgery to begin about 9:00 . . .
Then . . . 4-8 hours of surgery, waiting, and yet another . . . longest day of my life . . . waiting to hear word . . .
May God be with the entire operating Team, so they'll be on their A-game, cutting true, precision, perfect movements, stitching precise . . . to hep fix my baby . . . ( again ) . . .
Last time, when she was almost 3, and she awoke her first words were "Where's my daddy" - although she now has a husband, I think she will once again ask the same thing - "Where's my daddy" . . . followed by Where's my husband . . . and I'll be there for her ( as many times as she needs me there )
I'll update sometime between 1 - 5 PM when I get word . . .
Thanks to everyone at FBBO for your kind support, PMs, texts, and friendship . . .
