Updating the Super Street Mopar

Got the scoop made today. Tomorrow or Monday I'll put it in then work on the other two holes.

Got the scoop secured today. The area where the rear seat goes, you can see the hooks for it, is where I plan on taking out the two 2" round sleeves and making up a couple of oval ones to put in. With the butt portion of the seat in, plus there is some sort of vertical panel just in front of it, I can make this a fresh air intake box to help feed the air into the radiator which will be on the other side. There are also two air intake ducts that go on the outside of the quarters. These will get split on the back side so one portion feeds the radiator also and the other blows across the engine. I will try to seal off the intake side of the radiator as much as possible to aid the airflow through it. I don't want to only rely on the fans to keep the engine cool.

A volkswagon with a radiator? I thought these were air cooled?

This will be a water cooled hairdryer. LOL! He has sourced a 2.2 Subaru N/A unit to put it. I hear thats a common swap in V Dubs. He had a custom bug/bus combo with one in it.

Spent some time prepping the rh floor areas. Lots of rust dust was created then vacuumed up. From there I slit the bead rolls and did some hammer and dolly work to flatten the areas out some. After that I marked the currently cut areas with a ruler/sharpie combo so I can true up the edges.

Got the edges evened up on the two openings. After that I measured and marked out the filler pieces. Also cut the piece for the soon to be made scoop.
