It was safe" track conditions.
Connie Kallita, track officials and NHRA all met and discussed their concerns.

The track was actually "flaking" away.

It's going to be an interesting long race at Dallas/Ennis next week for completion of rounds from Charlotte

some people/racers {even some Pros} have said they can't or won't go to Dallas/Ennis next race,
not in their budgets or on their schedule, 1 FC & 1 TF so far for sure,
so that will give a few teams, free round wins too

Second time this season. Brainerd finals held at Indy. Do we not race the next day anymore ? Fans get hosed per usual.
Also, isn't this the track with Two pair of lanes? Can't they just move over to the other pair ? WTF ?

I'm glad V is ok - he's one of my favorites, too. One thing I keep hearing is the nitro cars and pro stock cars need different track prep down track because of the difference in downforce. In the case of Charlotte, I wondered why they don't prep one set of lanes for pro stock and the other set for the nitro cars. I did also hear someone indicate (it might have been Force) that the track had issues before they even showed up to race there, so my idea was probably moot. WJ would have been off the hook if he'd been there.

64BEL yeah Warren Johnson was really vocal about the track prep issues {or lack of for P/S}
NHRA spraying the 1st 1000ft for the T/F & F/C's {not always the whole 1320ft-1/4 mile for everyone else}
& lack of down-force issues/stuff for P/S's too...
