Vented Gas Caps

Can you use a vented gas cap instead of adding the vent lines to the tank?

I suppose you could, but I would prefer the vent lines to be sure the gas tank doesn't collapse

I vented my gas cap. All was good until the track officials told me I was spilling gas on the track. Sealed it back up and moved on.

Like the one below? I believe super bee tanks already have the vent lines? If you vent a cap that is mounted that low it is surely going to leak fuel!
