Vintage garage stuff

That tote is really cool!

Yea. I got two of them. Minor crack on top doors though.

This seemed cooler though. NOS direct connect counter display

I came across this package of seatbelt reels. It amazes me how much of this type of stuff lays around for 60+ years unused and unopened. The instructions are dated 1963. As you can see this package was priced by the manufacturer at $3.95. It looks like the store Hand stamped their price of $2.79 on the package. The razor blade knife has the name Ditzler on it. I looked them up on the Internet and I found that the company changed their name to PPG industries in 1968. Also a Mobil gas litter bag, and a champion, spark plug gap tool

Ditzler was the preferred paint supplier for the Chrysler Corp.

A can of Mobil cylinder oil, some Goodyear glue, monkey grip patches from Kmart, some lens tissues from the shatterproof glass corporation, Kenmore oil, and some merchandise certificates from Erickson oil, in Hudson, Wisconsin, good until December 31, 1957

I can't find Pliobond anymore.......my favorite glue for fabrics, vinyl, and some rubber.

The bottle of LX-521 additive tickles my funny bone. The first thing that I find a little odd is the amateurish label. The claimed 10% to 30% increased gasoline mileage is a little hard to swallow. Then there is the mixing ratio. 1 tablespoon for 15 gallons of gas. Wow! This stuff sure must be powerful! The label declares that it is flammable and internally poisonous. I wonder how much they charged for this bottle containing 4 1/2 ounces. For those of you who are interested, the label shows the name Midwest Development Labs Inc. In Decatur , Ill

Was at an estate/tag sale about 3 years ago. I just happen to see this Tar & Road Oil Remover can on a table in the garage. No way was I gonna leave it there. $5.00. Mine.

NOS oil filter. this has been in my possession since 1989. The parts manager at the dealer that I worked at knew I liked stuff like this. He gave it to me for free.
