Thats what I was going to ask ? Where did all the mph go. I mean 113 can get you in the 11's with a good 60 ft but it wont get in the 11's with 106 mph. Do you know what hurt the mph so much ? Ron

No change in basic setup except for the converter. A little disappointed today. The track prep wasn't too good for starters. I think I need to learn to drive with the converter also, but it seems the combo might not be right for me. After a few runs, I got a little bit better. My best time with the stock converter was 12.24@ 113.74, shifting at 5500 and going through the traps the same. Best 60 ft. time was around 1.91. Today, the best time I could ,manage was 12.60@ 106.60. I also should mention that I had shifting problems. Probably needs adjustment. The car really wanted to launch, but spun on every pass. lowered tire pressure as much as possible,
played with shock settings etc. That being said, I managed to knock almost .2 off my 60 ft. time. Even spinning. 1.76 and the car going sideways in first and second. That sounds fixable, but needed to shift at 5800 rpm to get through the trap at 6000. I think too much rpm for my setup. Maybe a step down to 3.73 rear gears? I don't know. Maybe I need a little more time with the converter to figure it out. The last run I went through the traps at 5800, but I don't know where I shifted at the beginning of the run. I'll play with this setup for another month and see what happens.
