Your motor is really close to my 500, 771HP at 6700 and 671 torque at 5300.
Are you running an aftermarket block?Your motor is really close to my 500, 771HP at 6700 and 671 torque at 5300.
I have read that some Dyno results show a little more hp with an OPEN 2" spacer. I run a 1" OPEN spacer on my 10.170 3695lb Coronet...for what it is worth...you might try an open and a tapered spacer both to see resultsWe're going to run the motor on the dyno again on Tuesday morning.
Did a little blending on the intake and picked up a 2" HVH super sucker spacer.
Will post results.

a big thanks for you info.... please share with us which intake manifold and carb that you have..So here's where we're at.
We made a few more pulls today only with the 2" supersucker.
Limited on time.
We made timing and jetting adjustments with the spacer.
We didn't spin it to 7000 but I was still happy with the results.
Previously, it went 720@ 6900 and 631 tq.
Today after tuning with the spacer it went 728 @ 6500 (still pulling) and the torque topped out at 640.
Unlike the previous pulls, the torque carried up the powerband.
Before the torque peaked at 5300 and started falling off.
Today the torque carried from 5300 up to 5700 before starting to fall.
Thats it for the dyno. Ill be bringing it home next week.
Can't wait for the spring
That's Budnicks fault.Good luck. I have also counted 4 ‘jackstand’ references in just an hour this a.m.!!
That's Budnicks fault.
He is the jackstandracer king!
