was this the style or is it a Frankenstein monster?

Gotta agree with ya George... different. Not too bad, but not exactly what I'd be driving.

Course I've always wanted to take a 4 dr 70 Satellite, cut out the back 2 drs to shorten it, then toss a nose and wing on it, so who can speak for my sanity?

I wouldn't drive it either,.......but that's a different idea you have on the Mini Super Bird.

How is this different than waggin's 2 door A body wagon, or the AWB that's being made from a 4 door? I'm betting the roof and floors haven't been modified, so after a good going over I'd think it would be ok to drive

A short door Bird would be different, The normally long and lean look of the Bird would be traded for short and stocky, Kinda Cartoonish, Have you ever seen a Super Bird with an extreme body mod like that ?

I know Stu and a couple other have Bird verts, but Road Runners were factory built as Converts, the Birdable doesn't look out of place or odd ball, it just looks like a car Chrysler should have built.

Actually I have seen pics of a Superbird with mods like that. There was a guy who was "on wheels" and owned/owns a Superbird. It was modified with the back end of the car being cut out for a ramp, and a shell resembling a pickup camper installed for clearance. This necessitated the removal of the center section of the wing, with the top of the verticals being attached to the sides of the "camper shell". Guy drove it everywhere

They actually seem to have done a decent job, with all the wagon interior parts being used in the back.
