This looks very cool. What's the car's story?
I was originally looking for a 69-to-73ish Town and Country. Had a couple of beauties slip through my fingers locally due to dithering on my part . I started looking for any kind of wagon on CL locally and when nothing popped up I started looking further out. I found this one on CL in Spokane, WA but the car was in Kalispell, MT. A ton of phone calls and emails later I drove up there with my trailer, inspected it, and brought it back. It's not perfect as very little was done to fix long-term stuff like cat whiskers and leaks, but otherwise it's in very good shape. I believe the clock is correct at 58K. There's no way this car has 158K on it. It's all original everything - engine, trans, interior, paint, etc. The last two PO's drove it a few times a year to get an ice cream so that was 15 years of sitting, luckily inside heated shops. It was originally sold in Butte, MT so it's entirely possible it was a MT car its whole life. Here are some more photos.
I've been doing shake-down trips around town to find gremlins (like the driveshaft falling out on the freeway) . This winter it's getting a new top end with a 4-barrel intake, Thermoquad, and HP exhaust manifolds from a 72 340. It will get dual exhaust, Speedmaster heads, a new 22" radiator, trap door air cleaner, and a slightly improved cam. All of that will be done up so it still looks as it does now - a plain-jane 318. It's a cruiser so I'm not going to scare anyone off the line. But I do intend to drive the wheels off of it.
