My incesion has finally healed up. I feel lots better but still a little weak and tire easily. I had great help from Home Care and the nurse’s. My back to work date is July 22nd. Thanks to everyone here for all the prayers and the well wishes. Kim
Good to hear that you are on the mend. It gets harder as we get older.

it's on it lifting and bracing , re bar is next . drill some a few spots for 1/2 studs . so i can mount hangers to tie the old concert foundation and that floor slab . but first is a sale of a number of my fishing rod bank pole holders , rain is paying off at least one way .

I got cleared to go back to work as of Aug 02/24. Still have a hell of a pain in my right side for the last couple of weeks. The surgeon didn’t seem concerned after he checked me over. He said the pain will go away after I get back to work. I told him I can’t work like that as I can’t bend or twist. So I guess I’ll go back when I feel I’m ready. Kim. Thanks to everyone that posted in this thread. It’s very much appreciated.

ack to work yesterday Saturday August 24th. 4 hours of light duty. 6 pm till 10 pm. Wasn’t too bad on this old man. Kim
Hi Kim, seems like I missed this thread altogether.
I hope that you healed up well enough by now and the surgery plus side-effects are well behind you.

I thought something weird was going on when I saw about a thousand pictures of underneath of a house......thought maybe you had an accident also.

Best of luck for a full recovery. Just don't go straining yourself too much.

I'm right there with you bud, having suffered a life
altering injury myself.
Day by day. Hopefully what you're going thru becomes
a distant memory.

I’m doing pretty good now. It was an easy time at work a new guy there stepped up to help me out. I only met him a couple of times while I was shopping. The basement pics are of a member in Cali.

Way to fall asleep, Roger! :poke::lol:

Seriously, great news, Kim! :drinks:
Thanks....don't ever let me drive a bus load of people on a long distance these days....

Sir, you take care and take it easy! I lost an uncle to a burst appendix. I am late to this but, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You definitely dodged a bullet, so the Lord still has a plan for you.
