I havent seen any thing of him am I missing sumthing here Or is he just been working if hes that busy mabe I should buy a rollback and go up and help him...............Artie

Seen him floating around on here already today and yesterday.... You tick the guy off??LOL

He's over on the racers hang out, almost daily posting cool old photos on the Vintage Race Cars & Gasser thread...

I'm around.Just doin lotsa lurkin.I'm also in the middle of moving out of a garage that I moved into a year ago.The guy next door complained about my flatbed coming and leaving alot.If he was pissy about my 2010 Hino, what do you think he would have said when I started the CAR!!Anyway watched craiglist and left my name with a bunch of realtors.I found a new place that the local residents are already broken into "automotive & motorcycle" noises. The wife tries to get me to to sleep before midnight, but it's hard to turn the brain off sometimes, what little I have left:sideways tongue:

That's what the 24 X24 looked like when I rented it.The own had a bunch of crap that they never used.I started cleaning iy out right away, mounted my workbench and started insulation and creation of MY mancave.I wasn't there 3 monthes before the grumbling of the next door guy made it my ears.

Work is halfway done, when do I get the "joint":pimp_daddy::pimp_daddy:

What's makes things take so long is,when I get there the phone could ring for a tow call.If it's the police they give me 30 min to get on-location and I gotta run run run!Sometimes I can make it back to the garage and sometimes it remains too busy to get back to the garage. There's always tomorrow:icon_dwarf:

Yea Artie,go hit the nail on the head!!Hoping to get my ducks lined up and install the engine & trans in the car this saturday.Picked up my Pro Torque converter and some converter bolts. It will take 2 trips to get the car,the engine & trans down to my friends shop to install:yes:

..is a collision expert an expert at collision H? lol.

I like that Hino,we dont have them in OZ.
Most of the 'tilt' tray tow trucks are 'flat cab' trucks. Most of the Interstater trucks have 'hoods' over here and most tilts are Japanese turbo diesels with 6speeds, no splitter. My last watertruck was a 98 Turbo diesel Hino. Great reliable truck. I now have a 2010 Mitsubishi. Aust dont build a local truck.
..another interesting point, we cannot have the rearaxle overhang that you have in the USA. If I import a Winnebargo or your truck for example, Id have to lengthen the wheelbase some! Bloody Gov't BS!

cheers Dave

ps anyone for tennis? lol...

Let me get caught uphere:toothy4:Installed the new t5 lights in the new garage, they sure are bright:glasses2:Transported the cars, the steel shelving, the upright cabinets, the trans and jacks to the garage.:wav:

i haven't tried a hino...we started buying the cab-over Mitsubishi's in '03 (for a spare truck), and they have been great! just have to PM them, and they run like a champ. :happy6:

we used to have Internationals :unitedstates: , but we bought a brand-new one in '02, and by 07 we had the truck in the shop every other g-damn week!:cussing: the warranty work alone was the what we paid for truck!!!

damn shame an American mfg going downhill so fast.:cwm10: (we bought a '90, 95, and '96 internationals (still have the '96) all new, and they were all stone-cold reliable)

so 4 mitsubishi's later, i unfortunately will now buy only mitsu's.:sad2: :unitedstates:
