What am I missing here?

Have a 68 RR and just installed the engine/trans under the car. All 4 K member bolts aligned and started. But the rear motor mount is about 2-3 inches off from the transmission crossmember mount. Any ideas here?

No sir...it's an original 4 speed car

I'm not up much on what the '70s cross member and mount suppose to look like. Wait on someone more qualified to see if there's something different.

You have the wrong member and it to cold here to get a picture of the right one. The mount need to set forward of the member.

It is the original K member. I used the PolyLoc Motor Mounts from PST.

Problem solved...I have a date coded 10/69 transmission (tail shaft casting C99539) that utilizes a '70 and up Crossmember or 68'/69' Automatic crossmember; therefore my original 68' 4 speed crossmember will not work. The guys at Brewer's rock!
