What are the lamest factory wheels and lamest aftermarket wheels?

Factory wheels, hard to say. There were alot of cool Factory wheels back in the day. Aftermarket wheels, there are thousands of hideous wheels out there.
First Gen Viper 3 spoke wheels did suck however.

I must be the only member here that actually likes dog dish hubcaps. My reasoning is that it lets the beauty and lines of the car stand out and creates less of a distraction, combined with the right sized tires it is my opinion that it looks more aggressive.
As for ugly, pretty much anything in a three spoke design, extra points for curved three spokes.

I like stamped steelies and dog dish caps. I run them on my Roached Runner for the sleeper look.

No doubt, every restored Mopar I see has them on it! They were calling the MCACN show the dog dish hubcap nationals last year!
Sooo, if the car originally came with dog dish, had dog dish it’s whole life, and is unrestored and still wearing its original dog dish, is that ok?

My Cragars are really difficult to keep nice. They rust even in the garage. I already replaced two of the set of four!

.....exactly why I was never a fan of cragars. (Except, Supertricks)
The worst wheels EVER, imo, we're the STREET Supertricks. You could spot them as fakes from across a sears parking lot, they were heavy, and the first one was rusty by the time you got the tire mounted on the fourth one.
I was "over" slots too, about 40 years ago. I'd rather have dog dishes 100% over slots.

Not to me,the car would be on Jack stands while I swap them out in my first 15 minutes of ownership!

Thought I`d ask the opposite question of the other thread on coolest wheels. For me hands down the lamest factory are steel wheels with poverty/dog dish caps = boring, they only belong on 100% concours show cars or grandmas slant six four door Dart. Second Lamest is Rallyes, while I don`t think they look bad it`s just you see SO many of them on restored Mopars now. Lamest aftermarket wheels are pretty much anything from the `90`s, if you still have these on your car please take them off! :p

Muscle cars are not meant to look like grandpa's slant 6 Valiant.

A HUGE part of why I liked the Viper coupe better than the roadster was the five spoke wheels on the coupe. Three spoke wheels SUCK.

I ran dodge redline caps on my Plymouth A12. Stock steelies with no caps looked unfinished to me.... so I ran what I liked.
A12 cars were intended to go to the dragstrip with your day two wheels installed, the factory even provided the chrome lugnuts for them.

Factory: Dog dishes are craptastic.

Aftermarket: Anything bigger than 18" looks dumb on a muscle car. I gotta see some sidewall rubber. Although they're not lame, I think all the Torq Thrusts and variants are ho-hum, done-to-death.
