What can I get for 5k

There was a gorgeous red 68 Satellite with a 440 and 727 for sale on the South Florida CL a week ago for $4,900, but it's gone already.

Cars-on-line is also famous for not removing ads after the car sells. There are cars on there that I called and was told "oh--I sold that a year ago! They still haven't removed the ad??"
Guess they think a lot of cars in the list makes it look good.

bruz, that's a whole lot a car for $4200.

ski, all these options, did ya pull the trigger on any of 'em yet?

thats is a real nice car for the money no doubt !

GA is a "no title" state for cars over a certain age and if they give you the proper paperwork you can get a title in title states, like FL.

Here is one my buddy wants 4500 for. The grille is out to keep it from getting damaged. it is in perfect shape. it runs good, and will be a driver when sold. The interior needs some help , but the body and chassis are solid. there is a rust spot on the lower front left fender and a dent in the quarter. the floors and trunk are good.

I got a big, fast and nasty hemi roadrunner you can get for $50,000..... oh..... you said $5,000.... lol

Is that original white paint? If so that car is charp for its age for sure!

Lots of cars for different price ranges, but to say you could not get a decent 68 charger for your 5-8k, they are still out there. I found one laying in a back yard for 20years, that ran just last Feb.
I found the key is to stay on top of new listing, craigslist etc, and be fast to jump, have cash in hand, and get to them before the flippers do.

It also depends on time you want to invest and wait to get a car.
If you want one now, you just find best one in the price range that fits your needs.
Otherwise, narrow down to a couple different models, and maybe one oh yeah if it came along model, and just search everyday.

Plus the more you look and see what is out there for the $$$, you will know without a doubt when you find a good deal, and what to look for.

My 2 Cents!
