Why don't you come down to Klamath and test drive my '66 Charger? There are eight bazillion pics linked in the for sale area...

LOL, we have chatted about it in email from craigs list actually... It is an interesting car but I have to thin the herd.. I have 4 cars and my wife doesnt understand..... I need the cash as well but whats a person to do..LOL I like cars..

OK..... ill come clean on my last purchase. i bought a 66 Belvy II about 2 months ago. I didnt want to reveal the price i paid for respect of the seller....but since i have not seen him here on this forum since the sale.. i will tell you what i paid for it.

it needed alot of work...and i have since tossed about 3 G's in it....HOWEVER....they are out there....i think i was just in the right place at the right time....WHICH NEVER HAPPENS !

here is a " when i bought it" pic....and a pic of how it looks now.......i hope youre sitting down....because i got this car for 9 G's . no rust...no putty....solid as if it were new.. 46000 original miles on the body....new paint and a 440 thrown in. the price started out at 13 thou ! THEY ARE OUT THERE!

The price is a bit more than you stated you wanted to spend....but i just wanted to show you that prices are negotiable and there are some really clean cars for not a whole lot of money. im sure if the economy was in better shape....i probably wouldnt have bought this car because 13 thousand was out of my range !

Did you buy this from Chris, in Canton Ohio?

I thought we had spoken somewhere along the line. I know all about too many cars!

Paid $5k for my 74 satellite. And it runs and drives, very nice condition for a survivor (also I passed by other $5k cars until I found this one, the others weren't as nice). As for 2nd gen b bodies, good luck.

If this is the same car I think it is (in post # 13), I saw it for sale from previous owner for only $1200!!!! Claimed it was a barn find and it sold FAST! Duhh, buckets & console was worth it for that price.
