Driving them roached out isn't a problem to me, they get fixed sooner or later. I don't do them up like I used to because I end up pulling my hair out till the first scratch or chips happens. I prefer original paint even if it's not perfect.

NO! , a car does not NEED any paint at all!
Or "this car needs an interior" -------- Nope. As long as there's some kind of seating for the driver it doesn't.
Aesthetic things are WANTS. I know the difference.

I live on gravel roads, so it would be pointless to make it nice. A couple bucket seats out of a camaro, parts store gauge cluster, stripped inside & out. Slam the Torqueflite down into 1 and hang on!
A 71 Hemi Cuda convertible, why shoot low.
