What did you do to your Mopar today?

Monday........maybe I’ll do something Saturday.

I looked at the bumpers-

I had a member ask if a 67 wagon rear bumper would work on a non wagon.

Note- He has a Dodge, and I have Plymouths.

As for Plymouths, the answer is no.

I couldn't think of a better place to post the pics, so here they are.

As you can see, the backup light location is different, and at least one mounting bolt location is different.
The brackets are totally different, the wagon being much deeper.

Sorry.

I see you got Martha Stewart in the back of your Plymouth. :)

I installed a MP fan shroud on my aluminum rad (zip ties temporary only), and now it's time to address that flaky fuel gauge (done, Autometer 3615).

I made up a Debris Screen for the hole cutout in the hood this morning. I made it from a piece of HD Stainless Mesh that I found in a trash bin.

Mine was finally painted this weekend!!!! Hallelujah! Sorry no pics as the car is in Minneapolis getting refreshed. I can't wait to post when I go to pick it up in September. Then I'll post away so I can finally have my car back. But major progress is in the wind. It's been a good week!!

Took the Imperial ragtop out to the Cars-n-Coffee gathering this morning, then did a nice little photo shoot of my three Mopars in front of my shop. After that, I cleaned the shop about 85% finished, and plan to finish that Sunday. Gotta look at the front brakes on the Coronet, too, while I'm all motivated and such!View attachment 272122

Well LOOKIE HERE! I guess common sense searches dont work around these parts..... but happy to see a "what did you do to your car today" thread that was mysteriously unavailable with common search words. And funny new add ons today several hours after I started a new thread while this lay dormant for 5 days? Cool.

Disregard the new thread I'm on board with not creating new duplicate threads.

Pulled the overdrive 4 speed out of my car. Should have the standard 4 speed in by tomorrow.

I threw my back out a couple of weeks ago, so I haven't been able to do to much. I felt pretty good this morning though... 85% anyway, so I headed out to the garage. I had some old fiberglass and resin kicking around, so I figured I'd use it up. I created a backbone for a funneling wall that will be on the underside of my Sledcity scoop. I trimmed it to fit the underside, but I still have to secure it in place and start building it up, making it thicker and stronger. I have to pick up some fresh materials to do that however, so maybe tomorrow. Then I'll just trim it to fit the hood. Maybe use a thin piece of closed cell foam or rubber between the wall and the hood itself.

The whole idea is to funnel all of the incoming air though the hole cutout in the hood, while also preventing leaves and other crap from collecting in the back corners of the scoop.
