What did you do to your Mopar today?

The last two weeks, got the master cylinder replaced, alternator aligned correctly, installed the newly rebuilt power steering pump and box, painted intake and manifolds, cleaned engine bay, painted the new alternator (130 amp)(spare).

Also found a power steering return hose that works perfect, one for a 1990 cavalier.

Got the timing dead on for the new Holley sniper that just showed up in the mail.
Bought a used set of Lcas with tabs to go with the hellwig sway bar that just showed up.

I'll throw the bar on in the morning with my current lcas and the shock bolt brackets so I can burn the rest of my leaded race gas. It'll be useless with the sniper.

It's pretty crapy out today so I've been cleaning the basement up .
Put a new LED lamp in the garage door opener pulled off the cover sat in it drank some tea , shifted a few times put the cover back on went back in the house .
I dislike this time of the year the wife can always find me for chores ...lol

Trimmed the seat topper mounting bar to fit in between the quarter window frames and drilled some holes to mount the topper to it. Trying to get everything lined up and in the right place, at the right height, before I tack anything up. Since I cut some out of the middle I will have to redo the right side roadster panel I already made.

Had a guy come look at it to buy it! He was a g.m. guy just sold his beloved 442 said it was a pain to drive around on the high way with a 4:11 gear and a 3 speed auto . He said it was a big ol 455 in it and it was a "beast" he liked the charger we spent hours looking it over and talking I gave him a bit of mopar info . I then said you want to give it a drive around the block he never once opened it all the way up and he said it was the most nasty thing he had ever driven the smile stayed on his face and he couldn't keep his eyes off of the car afterwards. His wife liked it too! So they went to sleep on it and I'll know in the morning . So even if I don't sell to him I think I hooked us another g.m. guy . We will see if he comes back he was worried it was a bit to much and gas would be alot to drive it !

Carpenters will be here Monday to build a wall between where we park our regular cars and where the shop is. Then insulate the shop walls. The ceiling is already spray foam insulated. So I had to move ole Brutus from the shop to where it will reside for the Winter. I put down plastic sheeting to park on and put the car cover on after laying some sheets of clothes dryer fabric softener in the car and trunk ( Mice don't like them). If we get some warmer weather ( Indian Summer) It will be easy to get the Dodge out again for one last drive this year..............................MO

I worked my butt off on a nightstand and dresser for a fellow coworker with the goal of raising enough money to buy a procharger for my Charger. 500HP just isn't enough after driving a Hellcat.

Not bad for about $100 total from Summit:
Grant GT Wheel - 13.75"D and adapter kit.

Pretty easy install, just make sure you have some foil tape on hand.
Going to try and put the RR decal on the horn cap or get a Plymouth one.

I actually drove today , just to the gas station and home put stabilizer in and filled the tank .
Was going to do add pressure to the tires for the winter than it starting snowing .
Parked it back in the garage looked at the front I love the grill , went to the boys hockey game .

Finally got the cowl vent in my 1955 Plymouth wagon operating again. After snapping off one of the original hinge brackets, I made a new hinge bracket out of a piece of flat steel and used a Mercruiser part to replace the bellows.

Got the mock up in place for the roadster panel. I lifted the topper up some more too to take some of the hump out of it. You will never believe what I made it out of...

The next one is a 72 also it's a rallye and a 440 car I guess I am getting little to no info on it I tried buying it months ago the seller was difficult and I didn't get enough info to warrant the trip to see it this time he dropped the price and gave a bit more info I see enough now to make the rid to see it .4 hour rid ! I'll try and update as soon as I have it or don't have it but it looks very solid and I need some parts and might do some switching of my OK parts for rust free parts rallye doors ! Ect then RE sell it at rod run or my super swap meet here in FL. If it's well documented I might punt my rallye and build this one ! Won't know till I get there!

As for my car I washed the slate clean! But the plus side I got a Chevy guy driving a mopar now so that's a good thing

My 68 Satellite project went to the body shop the first week of July. Putting on both AMD quarter skins, an outer wheelhouse, some other patching on that side and a new windshield . needed a little work where the windshield mounts and new trim clips. He broke his arm just before I took the car to him . Progress has been very slow, but today he called and one quarter with the outer wheelhouse is DONE and windshield is supposed to be installed tomorrow....YES ! I will pay the bill and see if there is money to continue with the other quarter..................MO
