What did you do to your Mopar today?

Bought a heater valve control for it.

I mounted the rubber boot for the shift arm onto the Audi trim plate. Filled the remaining holes and voids in the left door foam work. Removed the sunroof control knob from the Audi overhead console and fabricated a plastic disc to fit in it's place as a delete.

Continued de-trimming the '71 Charger in prep for paint/color change. Paint shop won't be ready for it until mid-February at the earliest, but might as well get it done.

I moved the 1964 Belvedere wagon in to the shop to get the newly overhauled 318 installed . I hope to have it on the road in May 2018.

Met another fellow Mopar owner. Was heading to the ABC store for some Apple Jack Brandy to make Egg Nog tomorrow night and saw a first gen Charger in the parking lot. Went into the Advanced Auto Parts and met a real nice guy, Mike, that just moved to town. Gave him a good welcome and found out he used to live over where my uncles live and knew some of the same Mopar guys I know. His Charger was really well done and I really liked the color scheme. Glad to have another Mopar guy in the area! Told him about the site and he should be on here shortly.

drove it about 7 miles

when the odometer hits XX351 my Eaton Truetrac will be at the 500 mile break-in point. will try a burnout after that.

got about 50 miles to go

I finally I.D'd my cylinder heads thanks to some held from several members today . 3418915 "J" heads from 1970!

I moved ol Brutus from cold garage to my just finished heated shop today . -10 degrees last night and + 11 degree today. Starter drive didn't want to engage at first--took a little while to get gas back into the carb , and when it did--started right up. Love that Pertronix III. Drove in snow and up a incline to the shop door---didn't spin a tire at all ( 4 speed).. Maybe 2018 will be good to me!.................MO

What!? There is a break-in for the TruTrac?? I was ripping burnouts from the get go lol!

As for what I did to my cars, I threaded the studs on my console door to eliminate the ever loosening sheetmetal nuts and put on full threaded acorn nuts.

Front brakes, calipers, hoses, wheel bearings, seals and a rotor, back brakes.

SURPRISE ! My 68 Satty has been in the body shop for some time now , getting quarter skins and new windshield put on. Got one side done and paid for --waiting and waiting to do the other. I decided the money saved up would have to be used elsewhere today, cause who knows when he would get back to it. It would have been spent this afternoon. He called this morning and is working on it and should be done next week. YES !!!..................................MO

Back to the usual. I called the body shop to see how things went....and , he let me go to voicemail , and never returned my call. That probably means he never got much done. I was going to tell him I sold my 1963 Harley Duo-Glide, and that money will allow me to go ahead with the 68 Satty build. Now we can get the 68 Roadrunner hood body worked , primed , and adjusted to fit. Also little hail dents smoothed in the roof and epoxy primed , ready for a new vinyl roof. Talked to my upholstery guy to get on his schedule to re-upholster the front bucket seats and new carpeting. This build will take a lot less time than Brutus did, as now I will hire a lot of the work and there is not near as much to do. Still got to stay on the body shop to get it out of there and back home. Having fun !!...........................MO

Bike sell where you hoped it would? I know you were wondering how it would turn out.
