What did you do to your Mopar today?

Bike sell where you hoped it would? I know you were wondering how it would turn out.
I really didn't know what it was worth, no comparisons. Ebay Harleys are CHEAP compared to what they once were. I was motivated to sell and altho it didn't quite reach my reserve, I worked out a deal with a buyer that I wanted for him to have it. .............................MO

I let the -hell-cat out for a runn today cause the sun came out and dried up the roads with 56 degrees.--- That purring sound at WOT is comforting.

Very nice exhaust tips, what are they called and where did you get them? ...................MO

They're TTI 2.5" Plymouth (oval) tips. I have TTI tail pipes so it should fit without issue, a little finesse with drilling a hole to fit a pin. Super nice and good quality.

I ordered these through Mancini Racing but you can also ordered direct from TTI.

I am going to paint my 68 Satty the same color as the new 68 Roadrunner I ordered from the dealer. So I have been doing research on it. It is QQ1 Electric blue Poly. ( Plymouth name)and that was 1968 one year only. IIRC Dodge called it bright blue. It is different than B5 blue which came out in 1969. Evidently there were different shades of B5 blue. And that may be the reason they don't all show the same. I got the color numbers from several different paint manufacturers. I still can't find the mix formula tho. " TCP Global -Auto Color Library " says they can mix it in several different paint materials ( enamel, urathane, base coat- clear coat, etc. )
My painter says , with that color having a lot of metallic in it, he would prefer base& clear. The local paint mixers have DuPont ( Nason) and Martin Seynour ( said to be the same as Sherwin Williams) M.S. is sald by NAPA. So, I will check with both them and see if they can come up with the QQ1 formula......................MO

We have this on one of the Mustang sites I frequent. Basically post up what you did to your B-Body today. Whether it be paining, cutting, modding, etc. anything goes. Feel free to ask questions as well.

(Mods move if wrong spot)

I'll start:

Took the rear bumper off my '71 Charger. I'm working on removing all the brackets, lights and such. It's fun thus far since I've already broken two bolts. The PB Blaster and breaker bar are getting a work-out. It also bit me again - that's the fourth time this bumper has bitten me - deff. time to get it fixed. I need to find a chroming place nearby to redo the bumper, it's peeling and extremely rusty.

Anybody recommend a place near North NJ?

Post up guys!
I prayed over my 64 440 in hopes of being able to work on it this weekend

I decided to tackle the cause of my no start, backfire thru the carb issues. Cleaned some wet plugs, gapped em correctly, little more advance on initial timing. Bang, started right up and ran like a champ. Reset four corner idle. Pretty satisfying on a cold January morning.

Exercised my flexible friend and bought some parts for my A100. :D
Now I just have to wait for the boat to come in.
