I got that hood pretty sorted out for the most part, working on finishing the scoop opening.

Neighbor and I took the cars out for a long drive. I drove mine yesterday (Saturday) too. Also put the center console back in my Ford Explorer since I fixed the heat a couple months ago.

I installed my dash and starting on the interior.

Still trying to figure out what this is called and where to find one.

When I replaced the parking brake band on the '55 Plymouth, I managed to lose the return spring. Today, I dug around in my junk bins and found this one that I think may have been scrounged from an old washing machine.

If I would have known how cheap new control arms with bushings and ball joints were I would not have rebuilt them myself.

Is that the seat release anchor stud (my term)?

I had a broken one once.
Difficult to fix as it's real thick metal welded to real thin metal.

Not sure of a source other than a donor seat.

#1 - Dr Diff, MBR manufactured with bushings and ball joints $98 pair. Will let you know quality once received.
There are also multiple tubular options.

#2 - LCA pivot shaft, the welded part you see is the LCA bushing outer shell. You press out the pivot shaft, remove rubber bushing, weld a washer to the outer shell, press that out. Then inspect for excessive wear.....
