What did you do to your Mopar today?

I trust no dealers and do 99% of my own work and now that the X has the 'newer' vehicle, I don't have to worry about it anymore. Anyways, after cleaning up a bunch of crap in the shop today, there was lots of cap screws that needed cleaning for the 'project' car to be cleaned up and most of them got done after doing yard work. Got both of the hinges on the driver's side on and the door is close to being adjusted but years back, the quarter panel got banged into and the driver's door never did shut nicely so I'm working on that....and now that all the paint is off, I'm seeing how much work the quarter panel needs. It doesn't need to be replaced but needs some help...

Aligning the headlight doors, as they're googley eyed. While I was waiting for the putty to dry I drove and crashed my Arrma Typhon so had to change a shock and the front bumper. Then I went back home and hit some spots on the grille that somehow escaped my spray can.

Pulled one shackle out of the wife's 65 Belvedere wagon. Started taking the gastank out until it started raining.

Test fit the charger's grille back into the grille support. It's still tweaked on its right side, but with the layoff I can't spring for a new grille support and grille right now. Oh well, at least everything will be clean and painted when it goes back on the car.

Started reassembling the dash.
Had to replace the pad as my original was badly cracked.
I used a recovered original core.
I used Herb’s dye on all the dash pads as well.
Installed the restored heater box too.

Finally finished up the RetroSound radio install - 3 years later. It's been installed but the bezel didn't line up right so been driving w/o the bezel. Got plenty of shelter-in-place time so this weekend started over again and got it installed. Still have to install the chrome dash molding however I seemed to have lost the six screws.
And yeah, the radio bezel is a different shade than the glove box trim. The car originally came with an 8 track player with a different bezel; the repro doesn't quite match.

Thanks. Thing is the chrome molding is in excellent shape, I lost misplaced two of the sliders that go on the back and the six mounting screws. Laysons has an interior screw kit that includes the six plus dozens of others.

......its so easy to loose stuff......I'm sure when the new kit arrives, you'll find the missing backs.....

Took the RR our for a drive up around Santa Clarita last Sunday along older roads used (more often) before the freeways went up.
The "old road" north to Newhall Ranch Road, then onto Sierra Highway coming back down meeting up to the old road again.

Been a few weeks since I was able to drive, NICE nice to get outside while staying inside for prolong periods on a beautiful day.
Clear roads... can ran well, jumped on the 5 fwy near the Norman Bypass Reservoir (blue patch under the hour/mile marker on the left of the fwy) and passed every person on the way home, still able to pass (mostly everything) with very little effort. There's always the person(s) that want's to keep up or race.. most things on the road can't match the torque so I eventually pull ahead just driving at a regular pace.
