What did you do to your Mopar today?

I finally got around to putting on my new valve covers. ....

Went for a cruise around the local lake. There must have been 100 cars. Was followed by a very nice Road Runner. Had a really great pasta meal afterwards. Was a prefect afternoon in north Iowa

We went for a 2 hour drive through the county. Got some ice cream, too.

Painted the Dana with PPG concept with some flattening agent to knock down the gloss some.

Cleaned up the passenger floor board this weekend. First 2 photos. Need to do the drivers side yet, but that needs a couple patches too. Also need to patch a couple spots under the rear seat. Making extra work for myself because I’m trying to do it while being able to drive it still. I also replaced the dash lights with led bulbs. Now all of the dash lights up and blinkers work.

Put the dash back in to mock up the heater placement. Starting to look like a car again! :)

Time for a new seat cover.

Joel was surprised at how clean the seat was. I have wondered if the car had 30,000 miles on it when I bought it or 130,000. Nope. It was 30,000. I have a perfect pair of hinge covers to go on. Thanks to @6pk2goDemon for the correct latch wire! I finally got it installed.

Went out to celebrate Sinco de Mayo, got drunk, fell asleep in the Charger, woke up at 4:30 am and drove home with it...

Wrapped the hood in satin black and got new rims and tires on it. Painted the grille (front and back) and hand painted the R/T emblems to make them pop a bit more.

I asked it if it wanted to cruise today but it said no, because traffic is getting thicker again...

I drove my high school senior son to our town center where pictures of the seniors are being displayed in lieu of his high school graduation.... He was excited that we took the Charger and I let him drive home.

Replaced the front and rear brake hoses, new pads in the back, new calipers and pads up front and turned the rotors.

Not today. But, recently installed a new positive battery cable in my 68 Coronet. Looks excellant.
It's a correct looking. The new one replaced the original one that had one of those uply temporary terminals.
Ordered the cable directly fro B&H Electric. They have the original blue prints from Chrysler which they use to construct the cables.
