What did you do to your Mopar today?

At least two days and endless hours of adjustment, I finally wrestled this on today.

The hood latch and catch bar were not sized exactly to the mounting holes so I had to drill out the holes slightly larger to accommodate the hardware supplied by Glasstek.
I think the catch bar was also out of shape and I had to cut the spring about 5 times (1/4 circumference each time) to get it to latch properly.
Overall I'm happy and glad it's done, just need to expand the underside for the new AC.

Changed #7 spark plug, that PB booster makes it a pain. 1 Remove air cleaner assembly. Drop spark plug socket (regular socket won't fit) down tube, 3" extension on 1" extension ratchet wrench. Unscrew plug, remove ratchet ( fun time)remove 3" extension without dropping 1" in the hole. Remove 1" and hold spk plug socket and remove that with sp plug. New sp plug put 1/4" hose on tip put it in tube carefully start threading. Once started remove hose and put plug socket in hole without foam insert, if it stays on plug you'll know why. Now put 1" extension on 3" extension so that 1" extension goes in the tube first. Tighten plug, remove ratchet, now the fun pull 3" extension and grab 1" extension remove 3" extension while holding 1"extension. Pull 1" extension so you can hold sp plug socket. Remove 1" extension and then remove sp plug socket. After all that crap thought maybe a fine cable or fishing line through socket drive and up the outside to make it easier to remove everything, next time. A universal on top of the plug socket with a 3" extension worked for me.

As you can see I had it all together once. I didn't like the trunk seal rail though so ripped it apart again. lol. Soon.....

Nice fab skills. The uninitiated will just think you put Charger tail lights in there. Clean work!

There's a whole list of changes made. The majority are hard to spot unless your very familiar with a 67 Coronet, or, have a stock one sitting next to it to compare..the Charger lights are about 2 1/2" too short.

Two dudes in a pickup drove by this afternoon and stopped, backed up and asked me what the hell kind of car that was in my garage. I said it's a 67 coronet. He says, are you sure? Those are Thunderbird tail lights. I said yes, i'm very sure. lol.

Isn't there an offset mount for the booster? Or is it just for the master cylinder?

I seriously doubt it needs a shakedown, Dennis. Sounds like an excuse to go for a ride to me.

Yes a bracket to raise it. Hadn't changed plugs and forgot exactly how did it. Now 15 mins.

A friend let me know about a b body a friend of his has less than a mile from my house. Seems the farm is being repossessed from the farmers kids, where the car was stored. The 76 charger was parked in 94 when it would cut out going down the road. Very shortly after this the cars owner did some time in a federal pen. So it was hauled off to a buddy's farm. Where it has sat since. He pulled the 360 out for a hotter 400. The 360 has been outside without an air cleaner so its junk. Hes going to try and fire the 400 up. Then we might talk a bit more. Heres what's left.

Well the laneway has dried out earlier than usual, the gravel road is dry and the town has had the DogF crew out for weeks sweeping the streets of sand, so only one thing to do. It's time for some "essential travel"! Hasn't run since the night of our Daughters wedding on Sept 21st, 7+ months ago. Two taps of the gas and a quick crank and nothing but music!
