What did you do to your Mopar today?

Checked my front outer wheel bearings conditions (fine) and retorqued both spindle nuts at 90in-lbs. Was a lot easier back when we used a hammer to removed dust caps. Tire wear looking good on my Goodyear Redline Raceways. Snugged up my weeping rocker covers and :praying: that stops the drivers side from leaking and noted after 204 fairly hard miles, power shifting all the way, there is yet to be any discoloration or burning off of the VHT Cast high heat paint I baked onto my HP manifolds. Ready for another cruise... :steering:

Every time I see a post of yours with pics, I feel just a tad bit more inferior a steward of my own car.
Can't help it.
Such a wonderful job you've done.

Thanks Ed, trust me I haven't always been this way with cars! It's either my aviation builds crossing over or my Daughter guiding my hands on this one. I built it too clean is part of the problem, now I have to attempt to keep it that way. My next one won't be stock.. lol

One thing I will add for the guys I see doing body work on jack stands. Make sure you have said stands in a location to simulate front and rear wheel locations. Lifting a B body on a 4 arm hoist certainly changes the door gaps. Not as much on my B posted Bee as compared to my hardtop Bird, but even on the Bee the top of the fender to door gap grows around 25%. Hard to show in pictures, but it's definitely "there" in person.

On hoist:

Wheels loaded on floor:

It's true, even on floor jacks. These rascals twist a lot more than you'd think!

In comparison, the '12 Charger R/T we have flexes ZERO when jacking up any corner.
You try to get one corner up, the whole side comes up the same amount every time.
It's hilarious when you straddle a drainage ditch or some such and the thing lifts a leg like a dog. :)

Lol Ed, no tin cans with these. No $5 a box .22 either. Boy is it fun though!
I use 22LR for a totally different purpose (varmint). I love using MiniMags in whatever cheap little rifle I happen to have at the time (right now, it's a Remington 597). If I can hit square at 100 yards, that's good enough.
I'd love to get ahold of a Winchester from the 50's, say a pump action one like my dad used to have though.
Marlin 60 is another cheap favorite.

Wayne, don't you have anymore paint for the drum? LOL!(4th pic)

Tried to figure out the pulleys on this 440, have determined that I need to space out the PS pump somehow, the crank pulley is correct I believe, I don't think the WP pulley is right but I do have another one.

Wayne, I admire your attention to detail, but you snagged me again and I have to ask.....re post 8004, did u remove, then replace/re install the outer drum vibration springs. If so, how’d you do it. Mine were missing, purchased a proper length set from a member, but can see their gonna be a PITA to put on. Was thinking about trying brake spring tools or trying to fab something.......Jim

Without a doubt, it’s your Daughter guiding your hands. My Dad is guiding mine....Jim
