I did a similar thing yesterday (Sunday 2/20/2022). I picked up my neighbor, Keith (another car guy) and we hit I-19 and went from Green Valley, AZ down to Rio Rico, AZ, then back to Green Valley which is probably a 60 mile round trip. We cruised at 80 mph most of the time. It was 77 and sunny, so the windows were down. The car ran perfectly and we both enjoyed the ride! PS, got several thumbs up as well!!!

That’s a fun trip. I use to drive that route in my 33 Plymouth Coupe many of times when I lived in Tucson. Little Anthony’s also was a cool hang out also on a Saturday evening. Jump in the Roadrunner with the family for some Pizza and Beer.

My 1988 100 pickup, Changed out the fuel pump, new injectors-regulator and reset idle (previous owner messed up more than he fixed) changed out wiper motor. Hooked loose wires in dash, why? Brakes next no drum on pass rear when I got it so new shoes too. Next I’ll pull pan to clean pickup (very little oil pressure) a work in progress

I fought thru the yearling Turkeys that were kicked out of their Rafter by the adults. They like my deck. (But damn they a dumb as stumps) I believe they hang out on my deck everyday for hours because they forgot how they got up there? All to get to garage to start car. We have more snow and then even colder weather moving in. Errrr.

Sorry about the snow and cold! This is why I moved to southeastern Arizona!!!

After weeks of procrastinating crawled under my Satellite and removed the H-pipe.Had car in the air for 2/3 weeks tools laid out. Took 40 mins to remove. Port-a-power on mufflers to trans cross member pops them off. I didn't really crush mufflers thought the flares were bad, they were. Now to put the H-pipe I bought from big bill on. Opened the garage door to let the cold out.

Got my diff problem figured out with friends on here and still stuck in my body jail. Looks like I'm going to be there awhile. it's all good made head way on trunk lid and firewall.

Took the car out of hibernation a few weeks ago, removed the valve covers and did a visual inspection. This weekend I started seeing an oil leak near the rear of the pan and a bit of a weep out of the driver's valve cover. Thought maybe I boogered up the reusable gasket when I had them off. Turns out the PCV valve is bad. Check valve is stuck and cleaning it didn't knock it loose. New one is on order.

got all the parts for rear end sent off to get built can’t wait to put it in it will be 355 sure grip

We still have a ways to go before the salt is fully flushed off the roads making it safe to wake up the cars.

Started to repair flared flanges on my 2.25" H-pipe. Had muffler shop flare 2.25" tubing then expand it to 2.53". Cut off passengers side manifold heat tube and flare. Cut new tube to fit H-pipe and cover Heat tube hole. Tomorrow drivers side. Then mount it on car and tack new flares in place. Remove it and finish weld it. The head pipe clamp fits over expanded tube by 1/16"+.

Myself still in body jail. Stripped some old paint. Got bumpers in primer. Also measured out for hood scoop but held off from drilling any holes. Thanks slimt for the help. Wax paper worked nicely

After a two month vacation the gtx started instantly, as expected.
Went for a quick ride and will do an oil change this week.

Still can't wrap my head around guys and their battery maintainers. None have run since November... 3 batteries at 90%, 1 at 80% (for about 5 seconds) and they all took about 15 minutes to hit FULL. So great to get a few minutes in in the shop after a long 4.5 month run in the basement.... now on to each cars "snag" list. Dart's up first with shifter/kick down seal leakage. Praying I can get at the things with the headers in the way...

Almost finished moving front sections of fuel and brake lines so I can install frame connectors. Just need to add a few clamps.

Pre bent or homemade lines. Looking good either way.
