Spent 3 hrs. getting the car all cleaned and waxed for the weekend shows.

Snapped a damn cheapo bolt off in the box nut for the upper rear hood hinge to mount to the inner fender.....discovered drivers side hood hinge is junk....Had a beer........or two.....

chipped some rust bubbled paint off lower drivers quarter....turned the ignition key to see if some gremlins magically fixed my car......no dice...still no fire

Put a new Speed sensor on the Dakota R/T. Check engine light is now out and the tranny shifts right again.

The Bee needs valve cover gaskets and a valley pan, but i am waiting for next winter unless the valley pan leak gets worse.

First chance to go over both Dusters though. Crawled under both of them, the 70's brakes are new, adjusted them and greased the bearings, checked diff fluid. The valve cover gasket was leaking, the bots were finger tight, oops, the valves need adjusting so its going to get replaced anyway.

the 73 doesnt drip a drop of anything. Checked its brakes, the rear adjusters had seized, lubed them and got them working, checked diff oil, never had a A body with a 8 3/4 in it, that axle looks huge under there. its got a new driveshaft in it.

Checked the front brakes, never had a early 70's car with disk brakes before either, those things are simple as heck to change, brand new too. Needs new wheel bearings, they hadnt been greased in ages.

The 70 has had a stumble off idle, the records show a repaced carb in 79, all the A body guys say the reman Holley 1920's are crap and another guy has a new one for me.

I was out in the 73 and it started running like crud, it still has the carb from the 82 Dodge it came from, some electronic feedback junk, that of course has no feedback, so its getting replaced too, as its suddenly running rich and there are no adjustments on it.

Unloaded loaded mine from the trailer and put it away for a couple weeks. My home got hit by a drunk driver and the reconstruction has begun. That is the priority right now for me and my Mopar.

Blasted the rear caliper mounts for the 05 Magnum. They are in the oven after a powdercoating. After they cool it will be time to reassemble with the new slotted rotors and pads.Sure gets hot in the shop with the oven going for 30 min.Got lots to do before Carlisle next week as all 3 cars are going and need cleaning and detailing.

PUTTING THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON MY 65 HEMI BELVEDERE. ITS ALMOST DONE. JUST NEED TO WELD MY MOTOR PLATE BRACKETS AND INSTALL TRANS. then i'm ready .

Removed intake and vally cover. Found a bad cam and lifters. BOO HOO!!

Put some new rubber under the rear end and went to a cruise night.

Had a beer initially, second one went warm, dumped it... Tried using an easy out to remove snaped cheapo bolt at hood hinge.. Easy out snapped inside snapped bolt.. Threw a fit. Had a Boat drink. Grabbed the plasma cutter and melted the rest of the bolt back to hell. Drilled the hole to 11/32" and welded a new nut on the backside. Installed a new pass. side rear parking brake cable.. welded in the new floor board wiring covers. Resealed over the tabs

Spent a few hours trying to diagnose a no charge problem on the '77 440 MOTORHOME. After chasing wires all over in that "massive engine bay", ripped the alternator out and replaced the rectifiers. Voila!! charging again!

how are you and that plasma cutter getting along

set the 5 speed in and measured for a new drive shaft. while the trans was in i measured and cut the floor for the shift tower and handle to come through. man it is nice working on original metal that is not rusted like the stuff from up here. beer time X2. ok-ok X5
