What did you do to your Mopar today?

No such thing as a good deal on Hemi parts.

Repro date coded wire in general, not really Hemi specific. They seem to all be made by Lectric Limited.

Many places sell them around same price: non Hemi $85-95 and Hemi $185-195. . The shipping and handling varies per seller though. Then there places 10-20% higher than that.

I found buying directly from Lectric Limited was $185 and they quoted shipping up front $12.95, no handling fee. The difference was they only charged tax if it was being sold to Illinois (they are based there).

Changed the oil and filter on the Coronet. Pretty routine, but this time I used a homemade funnel for the oil filter, the idea was pilfered from a @dadsbee thread. Cut a plastic jug in half and placed it under the filter. The hollow handle makes a perfect spout. No more oil spilled on the K-member.
Valvoline VR1 10W-30 and WIX 51515 filter.

You sure have more room there without a sway bar in place.
Dwayne's '68 has a big Firm Feel bar there that would make this difficult. Changing the filter on that car sucks compared to the 1970 and later cars. My oil filter is as easy to get to as yours.

When I replaced my wiring harness I saw that the last accessory fuse position did not have the top clip for the last accessory fuse. It was this way in the factory and M&H replacement. I guess it was a non AC car or something, but I bought a clip pack and inserted the correct clip and made a new fuse position. With a voltmeter, aftermarket radio, gps speedometer, and AFR gauge things were getting a little crowded. The installed pic is a little blurry, but much less of a rats nest in the fuse box.

Wile E. worked me hard today. Door handles, reinforcement plates, all door locks and linkages, door glass in and adjusted, cat whiskers and seals. Ready for interior vapor barrier and door cards.

I just pulled my turn signal switch out. I thought I had my car finished, but could not get the right front signal to flash. I traced the circuit all the way back to the connector under the steering column, with no 12V. Yeah, I remembered to pull another wire in. I HATE taking things apart again to replace something!

Washed the X in I don't know how long, cleaned the glass and bumpers. We have a car show cruise tomorrow and car show Saturday.

Wires installed. Nicely constructed. Correct lengths, snapped into plug and held upper boot tights, inscriptions seemed purposely clocked upwards to showcase writing…

I believe, only the previous wires themselves were changed. The boots and standoffs show factory engine paint on them from sitting on a wet engine at the factory !!

Found the annoying clunk in our beater Caliber. Both sway bar end links were shot. Apparently, 15 years of daily use in all weather conditions was a bit too much to ask. Just the lower end of each was like this. The upper ends were still fine.

More wiring done on Krusty. I dropped some stainless off to my polisher, and I'm also getting sub assemblies detailed and ready for installation. One chip at a time...

Worked on the padded parts of the dash today, glove box door and lower piece under instruments. Couldn't find a good set that was not hundreds of dollars so I tackled mine with a heat gun. Both parts were pretty distorted but not cracked very bad. I was surprised to learn if you heat them up with a heat gun to a little over 200 degrees you can put on your good welding gloves and massage those rascals back into shape fairly easy, keep working them with the gloves until they are getting cool, they will get hard again and stay put. I worked one area at a time, back and forth a couple times, they look pretty good now, ready for some SEM paint.

finishing a front end rebuild, only thing left is sway bar and road test. New everything has been put in place and adjusted to spec. Shimmed the lower ball joint .080 to help get neg. camber while the upper control arm offset bushing were adjusted to gain as much caster as possible. Thanks to several here on sight that have shared all this information so beginners like me have a fair shot at getting some of this stuff right. If road test turns out all right, then I'll be looking for a good place for wheel alignment. Fingers crossed.

Are those Repo gas filters? AR67GTX think he had a Repo pop apart, was able to shut it down. I bought NOS Fram filters but probably never use them. If I did I'd run a bead of clear super glue on mating joint. Maybe twice.

There are old Fram filters. Ive heard more then one comment about the repop filters exploding.
I have about a half dozen of them stashed away
But the car has single metal filter before the pump . So odds are Im covered for my lifetime.
