Added some emblems today :)

Oddly enough, the adhesive replacements that don't have pins are WAAAAY more expensive than the original reproduction parts with the pins :confused4:

So I had to hack and grind before sicking them on.

They might look a little off compared to other cars I've seen, but the emblems actually line up with the original holes which can barely be seen just under the paint, so I'm guessing the stickers must be off.

Update on the wiring issue...

Found the feed from the dimmer to the fuse block was broken. Spliced the wire and now have voltage to the fuse. But still no instrument lights?? Well, let me correct that.
There are lights, but you need to light a candle to see them. I noticed them the other night when we came back from the Friday night cruise. They are lit, but oh so dim! Even at full brightness on the thumbwheel. There are possibly 2 bad bulbs on the left side, but the right side is on but dim. Any suggestions?

Drove it today. Had to put it back in it's private garage as I am going out of town for a couple of days on Thursday. My heater box is on it way back from Rich, and that will get installed next week..

Bought another motor & tranny. Found a 5.2 magnum with 518 tranny and all the bits attached. $300 bucks, cant beat that.

Hey Snake Eater you should start a restoration thread .. or at least Restification thread with as much stuff as you are doing

Put the Plymouth up on jack stands and now I am waiting for the rear brake drum puller to come in the mail. Need to pull my axles so I can drop the chunk and replace the gasket. Rebuilder used silicone that has failed.:angryfire:

I am currently in the process of installing a new repro wiring harness from Evans of Pennsylvania. The headlight harness looks identical to the original except the new one is much cleaner. The engine harness needed to be unwrapped to allow the ECU wiring to reach the ECU. The coil wiring is too short to reach the RH inner fender where I had the coil. I find no fault with the harness though. They are made to fit totally stock applications. I'm just going to put the coil back in the stock location on the intake manifold.
I love this stuff!

I walked right by mine on the way to the beer cooler!

Just got done installing ss springs to go with the dana. Next weekend hopefully putting the engine and trans in.

Just pulled in and covered it up. Sweet.

On the Ram: Transmission service (filter and fluid), and changed the fluid in the transfer case.

Took it out for a nice cruise to go watch some canoe/kayak races.

Went to look at 400 again, took off valve cover, looked clean but dry...didn't smell burnt.
No oil (they drain it), but had clear water in heater hoses.
Brackets on front bent, but fan kept crank pulley from hitting radiator in colision (frame rail bent real good).

Still interesteted at $500 for engine, trans, all attached accessories and driveshaft.

While there, pulled some trinkets from that Cordoba and an 80's Van.

Van had what appeared to be very well done 110v electric, including a recep on the pass seat base that looked factory!

Scored:

Pentastar logo overflow tank- with cap. no leaks.
Working a/c heater control valve

Ignition key light assy
SB valve cover bolts with captive load disbursement "washers"
Temp sender for gauge
Brass "T" for guage and light
Throttle cable stud for carb (4th one in a week)
Throttle return springs
Brand new dist cap and brand new 7mm wire set (box was in van)
Brand new PCV valve
Brake light switch
Steering column plastic spacers and studs/nuts with captive star washers

All in VGC to EC

$20 for all
