Nice job on that engine stand, just don't let it roll off the table. LOL

took her to a local show, had a blast with a lot of good buddies and did some donuts. fun fun day.

Yesterday:

Worked on stripping RR hood (and having margaritas).

Found this old DA in the dumpster at the storage building...
Sioux brand made in USA.
Stuck on, and speed control stuck.
Doused with WD40 and worked back and forth.
Bought pad at Lowes for $8. Their cheap" DA was $45 and the other was $75.
Works great now!

Also fixed vise I bought at swap meet.
Ground carriage bolt head to fit and cut to length.
Not every day you see a vise in a vise (and yes, they're identical).

Drove car on errands today. Wife looked particularly good, so took some quick pics.

Found these Jeep wheels and this rotten T&C at LKQ.
Always wanted to run those wheels on a 71-74 car.
They work, but hub bearing cap sticks out.
Brain working in background for possible solution.

Drove it yesterday. There must be a tree under the dash because more leaves fell from under dash. I'm gonna have to do some gardening in there.

Repaced frozen front e brake cable on my 67 satellite today. not to bad but not as described in 67 ply factory manual

Last weekend, I started converting the Pickle back to a 4-speed. On Sunday, I yanked the steering colmn, left side header, steering gearbox & pretty much everything else associated with the automatic, leaving the transmission attached with two bolts. last night, the aurtomatic came out & I installed the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing transmission & mount. Tonight, the driveshaft, wiring harness & shifter will go in. The steering gearbox is out for rebuilding, so hopefully, I'll be able to finish it up next week.

did a burnout of my high school parking lot. finally graduated!

AWESOME!!!! Congrats on the graduation!!! Did the same as you and Budnicks with my 69 Formula S. Couple of buddies kept it from drifting by grabbing the right rear quarter (slanted drive in front of the school) as I F'ing SCHORCED the tires in front of the Principal.... was sure he would hold my diploma. but he didn't. 33 years ago. Good times....
