What did you do to your Mopar today?

Watched FAST 6 and drove my car like I stole it. Most fun with it I've had in awhile (don't drive our mopar to fast 6. You'll end up doing something stupid after.)

On the fixing side, I found an open wire from my coil.. replaced the wire and worked on rehanging my exhaust.

Washed, Waxed, and drove to work.

Took a break on garage work and washed the 73, polished the wheels all just before the window an eyeball shaker storm hit. :)

Blew the oil pump on the 72 beater while at WOT. So I changed the pump. Man I love the external pumps on our big blocks. 30 min job. Luckily I got her shut in time. Didn't seem to do much if any damage on the mains.

Nothing it was raining cats and dogs here, won't help with all the flooding going on up here, maybe I should be building a boat not a mopar, lol Hope to get stuff done tomorrow.....

Last weekend-

Sold some Charger parts and basically traded three way for a running 73 400 carb to pan including 727, driveshaft all pulleys and accessories, plus a new in the box fuel pump.

Project 451 has begun Bwahahahahahaha!

Actually I would love it if I could do some serious work on one of my cars. Between shipping out parts and always working on someone else I never get to work on mine. Don't always do Mopars either. Have a ladies 78 F250 High Boy in the shop now. Guy who started it for her got I painted and rolling and then gave up. So I'm getting it finished up for her. 514 BB. 6" lift and 40" meats. New everything, I'm doing a complete wiring harness with a Dakota dash. Powder coat frame, axles ect.
After this one is a 55 Ford truck. Total high dollar rod. Building a 429 for it.

The last couple in the shop were Mopars though. Did a bunch of work on this sweet 72 RR/GTX 440/4-spd/ Dana. Had to paint the hood, bubble and grill. Rebuilt the tranny /clutch and tach. R/R the master and booster. Added a console, vapor recover system. Fixed several small things
Also did a 4-spd conversion in my friends 69 340 Dart.

I had no idea you did all that stuff in addition to selling parts Mark and man that's an awesome looking 72 RR/GTX !! Please induce him into coming over to FBBO and sharing many more photos. I have no idea why there aren't more Mopars painted Petty Blue .. it's such a great looking color. If I were changing colors It would definitely be on my short list.

Some of those must be the before pics .. since i see no console

I'm in the same boat in working on other people's junk and not my own. I've been trying to clean off all the junk that's accumulated on my 66 AGAIN and have been sorting out some parts that I want to work on and prep for paint before installing them. I need to finish up my diesel and was planning on doing that tomorrow but I just found out that I've been elected to help out with an estate sale. Dang it. All the truck needs to be finished is install a new dipstick seal and fill up the trans. Then I have a new rack to install on my yard cart Dakota.

'67 gtx

Well I got off work and did some romping in my (non-Mopar) '85 Celica "rally car". Pushed it a little hard and ended up high-centered on a big rock for a little while.

Finished up the floor patches on my GTX and applied some seam sealer and paint. Came out pretty good. Also roughed out some filler on my sail panel and the area behind the rear glass where I welded up a couple small holes. I'll get to final body work after I get the car back on it's own rubber.

Finished fabbing my x pipe, going prefab next time rather than welding up a bunch of random bends. took a while to get it perfect and fit up close to the floor. Its 3" pipe.

Swapped my dashlights with LED blues...and fixed the speedometer...thanks to all posters that helped out..just lubed the speedo head and reattached..works great now!! However it's been raining every afternoon for 2 wks ..so she's still in the garage

Began making a set of stationary promo wheel discs

I'd like to see some shots of that build, I love the 54-56 F-1oo's they're one of my all time favorite pick ups... My step Dad Bob had one, a 54 when I was growing up, with a FE BB, 4 speed, fat tires, Halibrand's & black paint, lots of chrome, custom bed, fun cool truck, I learned to drive in a Park & Shop parking lot in Concord @ 11y/o in that truck {among other cars he had}, my mom was pissed @ him...LOL... have fun & nice work your doing there... keep it up

I did the same exact thing, hit 120 in the charger coming home, man did it feel good.

FINALLY got our restored steering wheel finished and on the car.
