What did you do to your Mopar today?

worked on putting carpet in the x--reinstalled the steering column-just glad that it's not too hot

Watched the rain coming down on it being there's a Camaro taking its place in the garage.. paint job, sell, another Mopar. Thats the plan i have, scared of the plan wife may have.

Finished bending and double flaring the lines from my master cyl to the prop valve on the 66. Worked out OK now that I have a GOOD flare tool. My $10 Cal-Van was junk, but my $2 flea market National Brass works just fine! Happy to have that done, now gotta mod the crossover line to the pass side and shorten the rear line.

Also unloaded my 73 of the interior FULL of parts, found brand new 2.5" header flanges a new set of $50 spark plug wires, the base to the cassette recorder, and found out the doors have power locks as well as windows. Also found brake lines to prop valve have been cut :( Oh, well, at least I now have practice doing that :) Still have the trunk to unload and haven't gone through all the boxes.

Reunited

After about 14 years the lost back window was found. So I had to clean it up and set it in place. Still need to put the headliner in and so much more. Last week replaced the starter with still some issues with it starting correctly. Starter relay, battery or ignition so will work on that soon.

Drove two hours to pick up an AMD 73 Charger floor pan for $200 has very minor bend by wheelhouse opening, also picked up a Goodmark/Sherman (has both stickers) DS quarter for same car for $125. Has some scratches and a bend in an area I don't need to use, stopped halfway back and got a perfect DS fender molding and 88% under door trim for the 66 plus two fenders to use patch panels from for $100. I'm calling today a major score!

Came home and started learning to seam panels by cutting slots in my 5th Ave and welding thm back up. First try came out OK, but only had old school die grinder/cut off wheel and was too thin to grind down the welds correctly. I'm happy as it can only get better with practice and the propper tools.

Installed front bumper and brackets and a/c condensor. Waiting for the condensor top brackets and dryer brackets from the powder coater.

Powder coating thoe brackets- spendin some cash on that thing, eh? Nice car. Don't think either of my G3s will ever be that nice.

Tried to fire up 73- no wiring or dash, engine harnesses mostly disconnected, no gas tank. Hooked remote switch to starter, fuel line to gas can, shot of gas in carb and jumped coil to battery. Wanted to go on first or second crank, very encouraging, then battery died. Got a couple more putts, each time sounding better, but each time killing battery. Still very encouraged. Have two batteries on chargers over night.

Also bought two packs of brake line fittings and a $15 pawn shop angle grinder.

i got flex plate bolts and starter, drop in distributor add tranny fluid tomorrow and its fire in the hole with my 65 hemi belvedere.

Removed the grill, front bumper, front parking lights, left hand fender trim and other various parts so the car is ready to into the shop on Monday for paint. All of the bed liner is gone and all of the other trim has been removed. K member has been painted and all shields and plates have been removed and painted.

Assembled the rebuilt steering column on my RR today with help from my pal, Glen.

Wet sand the 71 RR with 1200/1500, the 3M liq rubbing compound, then polishing compound. Lunch then tested 2 waxes, IBINZ and Turtle wax. Goin with turtle

Started fabbing the battery tray from the 5th Ave into one for the 73.
