What did you do to your Mopar today?

Mopar Stage VI heads are raised port heads, so they need a spacer to adapt to the intake manifold. See spacer in the picture below.
But they also mean that a standard valley pan cannot be used since the ports won't line up. We bought a valley pan from Edelbrock. But the sides were bent at 90*. Why??? :poke:

The sides were also too long, so merely bending them would mean they interfere with the spacers.

So we had to modify the pan. The sides were cut and then bent to the correct angle. Here I am verifying fitment.

The pan was cleaned up and painted, the heads drilled to accept the bolts, and then the pan was installed.

After it was installed, I couldn't help mocking up the intake and valve covers.

Last things are the installation of the pushrods and verifying valve train geometry - we are still waiting on the parts to arrive for that. Then the intake will be installed and the engine will be done!
