What did you do to your Mopar today?

I went to Bob's cruise-in 20 years ago but since I live in Indiana the commute was a bit longer, good to see its still going strong.

wax on, wax off, put and take, getting a pretty good surface, seam seal and one more coat of primer, I hope :praying:

We drove a bit over 100 miles to Port Renfrew BC. Which is on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. We can see the Olympic Peninsula WA from the camp ground.
Anyway, back to the ticking sound from the 318. If we had adjustable rocker arms or tappets, I would say they need adjusting, about 4 to 6 thou. But we do not have adjusters, so it occurred to me we need longer pushrods.

While sitting on the beach, I read the Compcam instructions.
They explained how to measure the pushrod length, and said I may need longer pushrods. Next week I will measure and find out who has longer pushrods.
 
What kind of real world millage did you get? Not that it matters with the Hemi, interested in what I’ll see here on the east coast.

I've been playing around with it around town. But I'll report back.

I filled up before I left last night at 68,170 miles. And I'm going to try to take it easy before the Spring Fling display tent next weekend.

No 6,000 rpm 1st gear shifts. :poke:
 
Found the wire causing it (70 sate) not to have fire. Felt great to hear that motor again. But it's been sitting to long apparently cause after a couple minutes the 3310 was flooding my intake with fuel. Dammit.
