I got to be sick in bed with the current strain of the combination flu/stomach virus that is going around for the last 4 days!
Monday morning had a TURP. Transuretheral resection of the prostate. All went well, spent 1 night in hospital. Got home yesterday at noon. No driving for a week, no lifting over 10 lbs. for 2 weeks, guess I'll buy 15 packs of beer instead of 30 packs for a while. Prostate was enlarged to the point it cut off urine flow. NO FUN!

You operate a 'stick' crane? That's what I call them....tower crane right? I used to operate a bridge crane....a fairly big one at that and enjoyed it for a few years but it got old pretty fast. At least it had a 7 ton AC unit on it lol. Steel mill stuff....Took a coffee break.View attachment 1384634
There would be shipping involved, but I had these guys rebuild a starter for my 1974 Case 444 garden tractor a few years ago, they did a good job, and at that time the price wasn't too bad. Just a possibility if you can't find parts to do it yourself. The starter on my 38+ year old Gravely garden tractor finally gave up the ghost. The bendix is what gave up but the motor itself could use a rebuild too. Oh well, now to figure out what to do next. Will do some research to see if parts are even available. A few years ago I called around to see if anyone would do it and no one wanted to. I can pull rope it but that sucks on a 16 hp BS single cylinder engine.....
Thanks. I saved the linkThere would be shipping involved, but I had these guys rebuild a starter for my 1974 Case 444 garden tractor a few years ago, they did a good job, and at that time the price wasn't too bad. Just a possibility if you can't find parts to do it yourself.
